    Executive

    Anumeha, Executive Director
    Anu is the Executive Director of the Texas Pension Review Board. She has over six years of experience with the PRB serving in various capacities, including Senior Management Analyst and Director of Policy and Finance. Over the years, Anu has gained critical institutional knowledge about the agency and its constituents and has helped lead the agency through three Legislative sessions.

    Michelle D. Kranes, Deputy Director
    Michelle supports the Executive Director in managing the agency’s operations and directs activities of the Training and Accreditation Division.

    Actuarial Services

    Kenneth J. Herbold, Staff Actuary
    Kenny is responsible for overseeing all actuarial services, including reviews of public retirement systems’ actuarial valuations, compliance with the PRB Pension Funding Guidelines, actuarial analysis of pension-related legislation, and technical assistance of actuarial matters.

    Policy and Finance

    The Policy and Finance Division is responsible for reviewing public retirement systems’ financial condition, conducting research on pension-related topics, and developing agency policies. Duties include examining retirement system reports, performing financial analysis, and providing technical assistance to retirement systems. The Division is also responsible for ensuring retirement systems’ compliance with state reporting requirements, tracking federal and state laws impacting Texas public retirement systems, and developing agency reports to the Legislature and other state agencies.

    Ashley Rendon, Management Analyst and Team Lead
    Ashley performs research on various pension-related policy issues, develops agency reports, analyzes pension-related legislation, reviews Texas public retirement system reports, and provides technical assistance to PRB constituents including retirement systems.

    Reece Freeman, Financial Analyst
    Reece reviews Texas public retirement system reports, updates retirement plan information, examines trends and analyzes retirement plan data, provides quality control for accuracy, oversees retirement systems’ compliance with PRB reporting requirements, performs financial research and analysis, and also maintains the agency’s website.

    Bryan Burnham, Financial Analyst
    Bryan reviews Texas public retirement system reports, updates retirement plan information, examines trends and analyzes retirement plan data, provides quality control for accuracy, oversees retirement systems’ compliance with PRB reporting requirements, and performs financial research and analysis.

    Eloisa Mata, Research Specialist
    Eloisa reviews Texas public retirement system reports, updates retirement plan information, examines trends and analyzes retirement plan data, provides quality control for accuracy, oversees retirement systems’ compliance with PRB reporting requirements, and performs financial research and analysis.

    Training and Accreditation

    The Training and Accreditation Division is responsible for the agency’s educational programs, including developing and administering the Minimum Educational Training (MET) Program for trustees and system administrators. The Division develops the PRB’s own training, including online offerings, accredits other training providers, and will track and report compliance with the MET requirements.

    Joey Evans, TLFFRA Program Specialist and Team Lead
    Joey provides specialized research, education, and technical assistance to retirement plans established under the Texas Local Fire Fighters Retirement Act (TLFFRA). He also works on the agency’s training programs and helps maintain the agency’s website.

    Christine Taylor, Program Specialist
    Christine analyzes retirement systems’ compliance with MET requirements, handles accreditation of MET sponsors, works on the agency’s training programs, and performs related research. In addition to answering MET program inquiries, she also helps to research and write MET online courses.

    Administration

    Westley Allen, Accountant
    Westley provides executive support to the Executive Director and Board of Directors.  He acts as the Board Liaison, Travel Coordinator, and media contact. Westley also manages the agency’s accounting, purchasing, property management, and benefit coordination.
